We are proud to share a remarkable success story that reflects the effectiveness of our collaboration with the National Planning Department (DNP). In 2023, we conducted comprehensive consultancy to design the ‘Guide for Territorial Entities: How to Finance Territorial Productive Projects? Foreign Direct Investment as a Source of Financing.’ This guide was conceived with the vision of disseminating among subnational governments the various available sources of financing, both public and private, national and foreign, as well as international cooperation options to structure and implement productive projects.
The most gratifying aspect was witnessing how the content of the guide proved to be not only informative but also highly practical. The implementation of the methodologies developed in our consultancy has been so successful that the DNP is taking concrete steps towards piloting in five territorial entities. This initiative demonstrates the real and tangible applicability of the strategies and approaches proposed in the guide, making it a valuable tool for territorial entities seeking to diversify and strengthen their sources of financing.
Additionally, we are pleased to announce that, in collaboration with Cárdenas Tobón, we are articulating possible financing through international cooperation to support the implementation of these pilots. This strategic step not only strengthens the execution of productive projects at the territorial level but also opens opportunities to foster international collaboration in the fields of economic development and sustainability.
